This will be a thread for the LARP players and ST staff to disseminate information that should generally be regarded as In-Character, unless other specific notation has been made by the Storytellers. Board-admin, could myself and BigDave be given moderation authority over this thread please.

    Thanks,

    Greetings all you crazy Democrats,

So... it was an eventful first night in Carbondale, if I do say so myself....

I mean, what with meeting all the new people and the seemingly random Republican road crew that rolled in from the south and the fun-filled forest follies and foibles of our friendly furry brethren....

Speaking of, does anyone know if our dear Winston survived his tryst into the scenic woodland area of Southern Illinois? Evie... I am mostly looking at you here....

Anyway, if people need to get a hold of me for any sort of mid-week mischief or mayhem, my number is 555-1984 (OOC: outlawdog@msn.com)....

    Cheers,

    John Smith

    OOC Note

It would be appreciated if interactions outside the board could be CC to either Alan, myself, or both. That way we can stay in the loop.

    Thanks, BigDave

    John,

Both Gabriel and myself survived and are, more or less, in good condition. On that note...The warning to stay out of the woods is a good one to listen to.

    Winston,
I'm glad to hear that you and Gabriel are doing well. You may need to looking into getting yourself a vet...a permanent kind of vet...

So... what kind of crazy things did you find in the woods to change your mind about the dangers that lurk therein, Winston?

Well, there are meaner things that us living in the Crab Orchard Refuge. I highly recommend you stay as far away as you can. A good rule of thumb...the bigger the woods... the faster you will get eaten.

As to what I found... I'm still not sure when I found. All I know is it shredded my pickup pretty well.

    Hey all,

Just wanted to let people know that Kand stepped in and dealt with that nasty issue of the breach involving Sgt. Carpenter of the State Police....

Figured I should mention it before people end up stepping on each others toes to handle things and cause a big 'ol mess....

That was pretty nice of him, John. Be sure to tell him thanks for the rest of us.

I'm not particularly good at investigating, so I might have to hit you up for some more help on Saturday. Anything I can do to return the favor?

    John,
Are you feeling better? I have a proposal for you that might be good to deal with the disappearing ATMs. Give me a call, so we can see what we can do...

    Greetings all,

Yes, I am feeling much better actually. And while it was interesting to experience the rush associated with tasting Darrell's blood, it is not something that I would wish to partake of again. A little too heady of a blend for my more subtle palette...

As to the ATMs, I have a couple of ideas as well, but I am always open to new ideas. So, what did you have in mind?

Also, on a completely unrelated note, did anyone else notice that Jacob mentioned that Abra was a Ravnos, not a Gangrel as we had all previously assumed? Curiouser, and curiouser....

There seems to still be plenty going on out there in this rather beset domain, so if people find themselves with free time on their hands and are in need of direction as to what they might do with it, feel free to give me a call. My number is 555-1984 (ooc: outlawdog@msn.com)...

    Cheers,

    John

Darrell is dead...that does not bode well... what will happen with Malcolm's arrival next week?
You tasted Darrell's Blood, and it messed with you? That is very interesting. What did it do to you?

I had suspicions about Abra, and it is...disheartening to hear that she comes from that clan. It seems many things happened while I was busy elsewhere.

On an unrelated note...who the hell is Jacob?

Jacob is the brother/marked person of JJe who came and took Evangeline after her incident with the crying of green tears on a city street. Do we know who the Keeper of the Elysium is? I believe he is charged with correcting breaches.

Jacob said Evangeline's master would be expecting recompense from those who attacked her, perhaps something our new harpy-in-training might want to address. I suspect he might also want to verify the specifics of Evangeline's debt to Jje, for even if her amster is not of the Democratic Party, she is and there are rules to follow.

I have no idea who the Keeper is. Does the city even have one? I asked Mikey a few weeks back about the officials in the city, and he didn't mention a Keeper, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

While I have no problem with the Harpy knowing I owe a dept, the nature of the dept, and the repayment therein is on no one's concern but my own.

Also, for those who possess something of mine, you know who you are. I would like it back at the earliest convenience.

    Evangeline dear--
That is not the way of the Camarilla. The Harpy must know the extent of the debt as that is within his job description, to make sure that you don't go back on your word, so to speak.
